ANCIENT MESOPOTAMIAN POTTERY
Ancient Mesopotamian pottery started around 6,000 years ago. Ancient Mesopotamian pottery was hand made using a variety of different methods including coil building, slab building and pinch pottery. This was a popular job in the mesopotamian civilisation even though it wasn't high up in the social classes. BELOW IS A PHOTO GALLERY OF SOME ANCIENT MESOPOTAMIAN POTTERY.

Ancient Persian Pottery started in the 6th century B.C.E and carried on throughout to the 7th century C.E. Pottery is one of oldest forms of Ancient Persian Art. Most of their pottery was used for decoration as it looked very beautiful on the shelfs of the persians homes.

COMPARISON
Well both of these civilisations have very nice looking art pieces but the main ones we are looking at is pottery. To me this pottery looks similar but Persia has used brighter colours for there pottery but Mesopotamia has used darker coloured pottery. Pottery to Ancient Persia is the oldest form of Art, as well as for Ancient Mesopotamia it is a popular job so both of these civilisations have a history or some sort of deep knowledge with pottery. Ancient Persian Pottery started in the 6th century which is around 600 B.C.E and Mesopotamia started 6,000 years ago so thats around 4,000 B.C.E so the time zoned ranged differently.
